PATRICIA LYNN WRIGHT, age 61, a resident of rural Charleston,  died Sunday, September 26, 2021, at Fountainbleau Lodge in Cape Girardeau, MO.

She was born September 29, 1959 in Dexter to Rupert and Kay F. McGee Cross. She lived in the Bootheel of Missouri her entire life and her family was the most important thing in her life.

She is survived by three children, Keisha McGee-Burrow (Willie) and Adam Wright (Kristen Holder) all of Sikeston and Douglas Hickman (Crystal) of Philadelphia, MS; two brothers, Kenneth Counts (Staci) and Rupert Cross Jr. all of Sikeston, three sisters, Audrey Cross of the state of Ohio; Rebecca Cross and Kay Cross, both of Sikeston; 11 grandchildren; one great granddaughter, and her companion of over 13 years, Kenneth Duty.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. (noon) at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston. Rev.  Joe McCullough, pastor, of Murray Lane Baptist Church in Sikeston will officiate.

Following cremation, interment will be held at a later date in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
