Patrick "Pat" Thomas Gresham Sr., 82, of Bartlett, TN, entered his eternal rest Sunday July 30, 2023, at Saint Francis Bartlett Hospital.

Pat was born in Paducah, KY, on September 15, 1940, to his late parents, Doris (Norton) and Robert Gresham. In 1962, Pat graduated from Southeast Missouri State College with a B.S. in Business Administration and would go on to serve as a Signals Intelligence Voice Interceptor and Translator in the U.S. Army, stationed overseas in Germany.

On November 13, 1966, he married the love of his life, Mary Charles (Tinsley) Gresham. Together they raised two beautiful children, Patrick Thomas Gresham Jr. and Valerie Beth (Gresham) Lumpkin. Throughout his life, Pat wore many hats. He worked as a printing salesman, served as a soccer coach, was an active participant as an RA leader at Elliston Baptist church, was captain of drums for the Golden Eagle Marching Band, and in retirement, taught Christian yoga classes. Pat was known for his sense of humor and had a knack for making everyone around him laugh.

Pat is survived by his wife, Mary Tinsley Gresham, formerly of Charleston, MO; his daughter, Valerie, (Tim Lumpkin of Weatherford, TX), his granddaughter, Zoe (Gresham) Moore (Josh Moore of Memphis, TN), his grandson Conor Lumpkin, and his daughter-in-law, Lori (Luton) Gresham,

Pat is preceded in death by his parents, Doris and Robert, his stepfather, Howard Douglas, and son, Patrick, also his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charles and Verda Mae Tinsley.

To honor Pat's memory, his immediate family will be holding a private ceremony.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Lung Association in Pat's honor.
