Paul Elgin Haney, age 80, of East Prairie, died Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at the East Prairie Nursing Center.

Born January 3, 1939, in Scott County, MO, to the late Oliver Haney and Gladys Hockersmith Haney, he had lived in East Prairie most of his life where he farmed until his retirement. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in East Prairie and was a U.S. Army Veteran.

In 1966, he married Marylin K. Black, who preceded him in death, January 25, 2016.

Surviving are his brothers, Dan Haney of Charleston, Ronnie Haney of Barlow, KY and David Haney of East Prairie; his sister, Mary Bell Clayton of Little Rock, AR; one special nephew, Terry Bruce McLain of East Prairie, and a number of other nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Herbert Haney, Ray Haney, Donnie Haney and Cecil Haney and his sister, Doris Lynch,
