Paula Diane Cross

Paula Diane Cross, age 68, of Charleston, MO, died Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at the St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

Born November 27, 1956, at Granite City, IL, to the late James Randy Black and Mildred Geraldine Jones Black, she had lived in Charleston a number of years.

She was married to John Randy Cross who preceded her in death on August 19, 2020.

Survivors include her daughter, Michelle (John) Thompson of Charleston; her son, Matthew Stratton of Charleston; her grandchildren, David Adams, Cory Adams, Aaron Black and Andrew Thompson; four great grandchildren; her brothers, David Black and Glenn Black both of Charleston; Darlene Eaton and Sherry Todd of Dover, TN and Ruth Ely of Springfield, MO; also, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, David Christopher "Chris" Adams and her sister, Gail Black Sperino.

A combined service for Paula and her late husband, Randy, will be held.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 23, 2025, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.  Bro. Stanley Triplett will officiate.

The cremated remains of Paula's beloved husband Randy, will be interred with her at the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.
