PEGGY CROSNO PRESSON, age 77, a resident of Diehlstadt, died Friday, March 27, 2015, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born September 18, 1937 in Diehlstadt to the late Albert and Grace McClanahan Crosno. She had lived in Diehlstadt her entire life, was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Diehlstadt and had been employed with Brown Shoe Company in Charleston until her retirement.
In October 1962 she married Harold Presson who survives of the home.
Also surviving are two sons, Stephen Presson and Ronnie Presson both of Diehlstadt; one daughter, Kathy (Greg) Northcutt of Imperial; one brother, Albert Crosno of Benton, KY; and 5 grandchildren, Charlie Simmons, Alex Presson, Adam Northcutt, Allison Northcutt, and Ashley Northcutt.
One brother, Jesse Crosno, and three sisters, Lucille Armsby, Dorothy Linebaugh, and Evelyn Teachout preceded her in death.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the Funeral Hour at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at the McMikle Funeral Home. Rev. Darin Watkins, pastor of First Southern Baptist Church in Diehlstadt, will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Mike Crosno, Bob Crosno, Jesse Crosno, Gary Linebaugh, David Teachout, and Greg Northcutt.
