Phil Clubbs

Phillip Gene Clubbs, age 76, of East Prairie, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri.

He was born May 10, 1950, in Parma, Missouri, to the late Arthur Carner Clubbs and Virginia Mae Williford Clubbs. He was of the Baptist faith.

Phillip married Sandra Lee Smith Clubbs on April 10, 1981, and she survives of the home.

He is also survived by his children: Dewayne Clubbs of Bertrand, Missouri; Johnny and Bobbi Clubbs of East Prairie; Mike and Tonya Russell of East Prairie; Kenny and Glena Tribout of East Prairie; Tammy and Daniel Easley of East Prairie; and Regenia Everly of East Prairie. He was blessed with thirteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by four brothers, Dewey, Darryl, John, and Charles Clubbs, and two sisters, Caroline and Barbara Clubbs. 

Phillip worked as a grader operator for 31 years before retiring in 1998. He enjoyed working on small engines and lawn equipment, going to auctions, and spending time with family and friends.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until time for the funeral service at 6:00 p.m., Monday, June 1, 2026, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.

Private family interment will follow.
