Quindola Mae Davis Gadberry, formerly of Bloomfield, entered her Eternal Home, Saturday, January 20, 2024, at the Crowley Ridge Care Center at Dexter, MO.
Born November 3, 1936, in Wichita, KS, the only child of the late Quincy Johnathan Davis and Elizabeth Mae Murphy Davis, Quindola grew up in Kansas but had lived in the Bloomfield area a number of years. She was a certified nurse aide and homemaker. She was a former member of the June Frisby Academy of Music in Wichita, KS and was of the Christian belief.
On March 8, 1953, she married Billy Joe Gadberry, Sr., who preceded her in death on May 17, 2017. She was also preceded in death by one son, Billy Gadberry II on 5/22/23 and his wife Tina on 5/9/19, as well as Gary's wife Patty on 12/4/23, also an infant daughter.
Surviving are her children, Gary Gadberry; Donnie Gadberry and Kathie (Jamie) Heflin; 8 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston.
Private Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield.
