Ralph Davis, 84, a long-time resident of Sikeston, died Friday Feb. 10 at Missouri Delta Medical Center. He was born July 20, 1932 at Lamar, Arkansas to the late George and Ocie Marie (Holt) Davis. He was a member and former deacon at Emanuel Missionary Baptist Church and was retired owner and operator of Davis Body Shop. He was married Sept. 15, 1962 to Vivian Grace (Hessling) Hadley in Sikeston and she survives of the home. Also surviving are 2 sons Doyle (Bobbi) Hadley of Sikeston and Michael Hadley of Sikeston; 3 daughters, Sharon Stricker of Sikeston, Deborah Christie of St. Louis and Tamara Dame of Sikeston; 1 brother, Bill Davis of Sikeston and 2 sisters Jackie Powell of Charleston and Betty King of Willits, California. Ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by 1 brother. Visitation will be Tuesday, Feb. 14 at Emanuel Missionary Baptist Church from 10:00 am until time for services at 11:00 am. Rev. Jason Redden the pastor will officiate and burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
