Obituary
RANDOLPH GRANGER 'RANDY' FRENCH, Age 49, died Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at his home in Charleston.
Born April 28, 1960 at Sikeston, Missouri to Juliet Susanne Hartsfield French, who survives of Charleston, and the late Robert Rickey "Bob" French, Sr., he had lived in Charleston most of his life. Having attended the Southeast Missouri State University at Cape Girardeau and the University of Missouri at Rolla, he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, the West Kentucky Amateur Astronomers Association, and Mensa.
Surviving besides his mother are aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Rickey French, Jr.; his paternal grandparents, Oliver Burton and Jennie Brown French, Sr. and his maternal grandparents, Olin Sanford and Mildred Granger Hartsfield.
Visitation is from 10:00 a.m. until time for the memorial service at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 3, 2010 at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Rev. Dan H. Faust, pastor of the United Methodist Church in Charleston, will officiate.
Private burial will follow at a later date at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Charleston.
