Raymond Edward Price, 83, died Friday Feb.1, 2013 at Missouri Delta Medcial Center.
He was born July 4, 1929 in Brilliant, Alabama to the late Noah and Rosa Arizona (Dodd) Price.
A resident of this area most of his life, he was a farmer, had worked at Sikeston Concrete and later as a field mechanic for Missouri State Highway Department.
He was a member of Shady Acres Church of Christ.
On March 11, 1950 he was united in marriage to Martha "Evelyn" Burns at Charleston and she survives of the home. Also surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, James and Jeanie Price of Sikeston; 2 daughters and 1 son-in-law, Jo Ann Lambert of Troy, Illinois and Janie & John Hazel of Sikeston. Six Grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson also survive. He was preceded in death by 1 brother and 1 sister.
Visitation will be held from 4 pm until 7:30 pm Sunday Feb 3, at Blanchard Funeral Chapel.
Funeral services will be at Shady Acres Church of Christ at 11:00 am Monday Feb. 4 with his grandson, Westley Hazel, minister of Savannah Church of Christ in Savannah, TN officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories.
