REBA HOLLENE RYAN, age 87, of Sikeston, died Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at Southeast Health in Cape Girardeau.

She was born January 8, 1934, at Sikeston, MO, to the late Holi and Nora Scott Holifield. Reba was employed at Missouri Delta Medical Center as a CNA for a number of years, until her retirement. After she retired, she was a Foster Grandmother at the Sikeston kindergarten where the children absolutely loved her. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sikeston, MO. In her spare time, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Reba loved watching her Cardinal games.

In the late 1940's, she married Marion Ryan, who preceded her in death on December 16, 1980.

Surviving is her son, Russell (Marcalea) Ryan, of Sikeston, MO; two grandsons, Russell "Brad" (Tiffany) Ryan Jr. of Sikeston, MO; and James Jackman of Brookfield, MO; two great grandchildren, Dakota (Alexis) Ryan of Sikeston, MO; and Jacob Matthew (Allison) Jackman of Brookfield, MO; one great-great grandchild, Grayson James Jackman of Brookfield, MO.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 8 brothers and sisters; one son, Louis Jackman; and one granddaughter, Melissa Jackman Elkins.

Private services will be held at a later date.

McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
