Richard Allen "Corky" Raines, 69, a life long resident of Sikeston, died at 4:44 pm, Friday, April 27, 2012 at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
He was born November 2, 1942 at Sikeston to the late Cordie and Evelyn (Ryan) Raines. Mr. Raines had been employed as a crew leader at Anchor Toy and later as a crew leader at Scott County Milling Co. and he was member of Canalou Baptist Church.
On July 3, 1965 he was married to Ann B.Brooksher in Sikeston and she
survives of the home. Also surviving are 1 daughter, Angela Raines of the home. Three brothers, Jim Ryan, Tommy Raines and Tony Raines all of Sikeston and two sisters, Pat Gregory and Martha Bradley of Sikeston.
He was preceded in death by one son, Richard Allen Raines, Jr. and by 2 brothers and 1 sister.
Visitation will be from 11 am until service time at 2 pm Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Blanchard Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Dewayne Coleman, pastor of Canalou Baptist Church will officiate with burial to follow at Blodgett Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Wren, Harley Wren, Teddy Sweet, Dean Martin, Paul Martin and Jeff Martin.
