RICHARD OLIN McCULLOUGH, age 72, a resident of Charleston, died Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born September 27, 1945, at Cairo, IL, to the late Walter Alvin and Audrey Mae Baker McCullough, he had lived in Charleston most of his life. As a young man he worked with his father in farming until going in to the service station business where he owned the Sinclair Station, Kerr-McGee Station and later Richards Service Station all in Charleston.
On June 30, 1999, he married Verna Lee Williams, who survives of the home.
Also surviving are his children, Katryn Latsko of Texarkana, TX; Channen (Tammy) McCullough of Queen City, TX; Sonya (Steve) Linley of Sikeston; Michael Williams of Charleston; Shelley Stinnett of Dogwood and Timothy (Jospehine) Williams of Charleston; three sisters, Dessie Tramel of Powell, WY; Daisy McClain of Charleston and Dorothy Turner of Sikeston; his first wife, Carolyn McCullough of Queen City, TX; 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth McCullough; one sister, Mary Hillis; one granddaughter, Jessica Ann Pazdera and one great grandson, Casen Cameron.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, June 15, 2018, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 16, 2018, in the McMikle Chapel with Bill Bradley officiating.
Interment will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.
