Richard Allen Nelson

Richard Allen "Dusty" Nelson, age 78, died Monday, January 13, 2020, at his home in Charleston.

Born September 25, 1941, at Chino, CA, to the late Rodney Odell Nelson and Nellie May Ruyle Nelson.

He is survived by his children, Twy'la Dawnn Nelson-Lopez, Kimberly Jo Cooper, Kristen Marie Nelson and Karen Scott; his grandchildren, Mateo, Logan, Khmara, Isa'bella, My'Ella, Zahara Jolie and Little Max; his sister, Shirley Jacobson; his nieces and nephews, Denise Ford, Steven Nelson, David Hunter and Allison Jacobson Smedley.

Also surviving is his special companion, LaDonna Sue Brown Cates of the home in Charleston and her children, Todd, Cory and Carla and their families.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
