Ricky Dale Krauss

Ricky Dale Krauss, age 33, died Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at his home in East Prairie, MO.

Born September 22, 1992, at Poplar Bluff, MO to Herbert Lee Krauss, Jr. and Judith Tatum, he had lived in East Prairie, MO most of his life and was so proud to receive his G.E.D in 2015.

Ricky was a handful to say the least but had a heart of gold.

He married Heather Hartwick and had one daughter, Aubrey Rae Leigh; additional survivors besides his mother and father, is his sister, Kristi Krauss (Daniel Murray); sister, Pamela Mead (Michael) nephew, Jonathan; nephew, Memphis and niece, Phoenix, who he enjoyed spending time with; a very special love in his life, Kursten Burleson; his uncles, Lindell Laughlin, Eric Krauss and David (Phyllis) Watkins; aunts, Misty Krauss and Tracy Kenster; as well as a number of extended family members and friends.

There will be no funeral services and burial will be private.

There will be a small get together at the home he shared with his mom and uncle at a later date.

McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
