Rita Regina Green, 58, a resident of Dexter, died Monday, Oct 10 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was born May 11, 1958 in Wyatt to James True, who survives of Sikeston and the late Maxine (Thorn) True. She had been a resident of the East Prairie, Sikeston & Dexter areas all of her life and was a member of Church on the Rock near Morehouse and was employed as the church secretary. She previously had been the secretary at Sikeston Kindergarten. She was married March 29, 1980 to Randy Green in Sikeston and he survives of the home. Besides her husband and father, she is survived by 1 son Tyler (Katie) Green of Kennett; 2 daughters, Blaire (Tim) Houston and Brooke (Robert) Pipes all of Dexter; 1 brother, Rev. Curtis (Carmen) True of Sikeston; 4 sisters Gloria (Randy) True-Samuelson of Lake of the Ozarks, Melinda (Larry) Wicker, Berniece Sharber and Roxie (David) Sindle all of Sikeston. Also surviving are 1 grandson, Peyton Green, 1 granddaughter, Katlyn Houston and she was also Mimi to Justin Leslie, P.J. Hunt, Meicie Palmer and Noah Tinnin who all loved her very much. She was preceded in death by 1 brother, Calvin True, 1 sister, Carneice Palmer, 2 brothers-in-law, Johnny Sharber and Claude Hagan and by 1 great-nephew, Ethan Box. Other survivors include many nieces and nephews that loved her very much. Visitation will be at Church on the Rock near Morehouse, Wednesday from 1:00 pm until time for services at 3:00 pm. Her brother, Rev. Curtis True, pastor of Church on the Rock will officiate and he will be assisted by Bishop Ronnie Webb, pastor of Mt. Calvary Powerhouse at Poplar Bluff and Apostle Zack Strong, pastor of Christ Church of the Heartland at Cape Girardeau. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories. Active pallbearers will be Greg Copeland, Houston Sindle, Brandon Sparks, Joe Givens, Junior Garces and Bryan Borders. Honorary pallbearers will be Cody Martin and Justin Hayton.
