Robert William Lafferty, 69, and Katherine Ann Toombs Lafferty, are now together again in Heaven.

Robert was born January 30, 1951, at Centralia, IL to the late James and Thelma Ditto Lafferty and died Friday, January 1, 2021, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Katherine, known as "Cathy", was born July 14, 1958, at Detroit, MI, to Janet Eileen Alverson Toombs who survives of Clinton Township, MI, and the late Kenneth Toombs, and died Monday, December 28, 2020, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Robert and Cathy had lived most of their lives in East Prairie and had attended the Assembly of God Church.  They were known for their love and respect for each other and would always greet you with a smile.

Robert is survived by his brothers and sisters, Billy Lafferty, Eddie Lafferty and Danny (Sharon) Lafferty all of East Prairie; Almedia Curvin of East Prairie, Charlene Whited of Elmwood, TN, Marilyn (Tom) Simmons of Elsinore, Brenda (BJ) Long of Springfield and many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Robert was preceded in death by his sisters, Pansy Ruth Hawks and Frances Ann Lafferty.

Cathy is survived by her son, Joey Cicinelli of Matthews; her brothers and sisters, Paul (Melissa) Toombs and Albert Toombs of East Prairie; Kennett (Rebecca) Toombs of Cairo, IL; Rebecca (Roy) Wilson of Wickliffe, KY, Patricia Tilley of Charleston and Dorothy (Donald) Burcks of Wyatt; also, a number of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Cathy was preceded in death by her son, Vito Cicinelli and her sister, Sharon Toombs.

Visitation for Robert and Cathy will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour of noon, Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at the Full Gospel Church in East Prairie.  Mike Johnson will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
