PARK HILLS – Robert "Bob" Donaldson, 60, of Farmington, MO, passed away at his residence Saturday, October 27, 2018.
He was born July 29, 1958, at Rockford, Illinois. Growing up in the Charleston, MO area, Bob was a retired Navy veteran; member and Past Commander of VFW Post #5741; served as Quarter Master for the VFW Post for several years; and was retired from Saberliner, Corp.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Miles R. Donaldson, and Dorothy Joan Parker Donaldson Miller; step-father, Loy Miller; and sisters, Judy Schmidt, and Jo Ellen Meeks.
Bob is survived by his wife, Cheryl (Gray) Donaldson; three sons, Kyle Donaldson and wife Crystal, Lee Carnell and wife Megan, and Thomas Donaldson; daughter, Jordan Donaldson; two grandchildren, Kolten, and Katelyn Donaldson; brothers and sisters, Karen and Steve Bailey, Patti Donaldson, Jackie Carnell, Milesa and Kevin Curtis, Tim Donaldson, David Donaldson, and John Donaldson. Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
Visitation, with a VFW service, will be 5 p.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at Horton-Wampler Funeral Home in Park Hills. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 31, 2018, at Horton-Wampler Funeral Home in Park Hills with Rev. Richard Young officiating.
Burial at Parkview Cemetery.
