ROBERT J. DUGAN, Age 92, a resident of Wyatt, died Monday, July 14, 2014, at the Charleston Manor.
Born October 4, 1921, in Mississippi County, Missouri, to the late R. L. and Beulah Faughn Dugan, he had lived in Mississippi County most of his life where he had been engaged in farming and was a member of the Wyatt United Methodist Church until its closing in 2005. At that time he became a member of the Charleston United Methodist Church.
On February 27, 1943, he married Johnnie Jo Potter, who preceded him in death on January 29, 1996.
Surviving are two sons, Robert "Bob" Dugan of Charleston and Johnny Dugan of East Prairie; two daughters, Marion (Tom) Boulnois, II and Sharon Dugan both of Charleston; one sister, Nelda Coldwell of Murfreesboro, TN; five grandchildren, Darryl (Jennifer) Buchanan of Benton; Tom (Penny) Boulnois, III of Sikeston; Joe (Amy) Boulnois of Denver, CO; Robbie Dugan of Sikeston and Beth Roberts of Charleston; seven great grandchildren, Jared Boulnois, Esther Boulnois and Joshua Boulnois all of Denver, CO; Macy Boulnois and Dylan Boulnois of Sikeston; Bri'Anna Buchanan, Tabetha Buchanan and Zachary Buchanan all of Benton.
Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Gerald Dugan and Clarence Dugan and by one sister, Mary Faye Douglas.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 17, 2014, at the McMikle Funeral Home where funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 18, 2014. Kenneth Gibson, pastor of the New Covenant Pentecostal Holiness Church in Wyatt, will officiate.
Interment will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Cliff Dugan, Chris Dugan, Clark Dugan, Clay Dugan, Robert Keener, Tom Boulnois and Darryl Buchanan.
