Roger Dale Ward, II

Roger Dale Ward II, age 54, of Sikeston, Missouri, passed away on April 26, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones at St Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born on March 8, 1972, in Sikeston, to Roger and Abbie Ward, who both preceded him in death.

Roger is survived by his children, Lindsay (Nikko) Galang and Roger Ward III, both of Sikeston. He was a proud grandfather to William, Peyton, Rosie, and Lilly, who brought great joy to his life.

He is also survived by his siblings, Lorrie McClenton of Sikeston, Jamie Ward of Birchtree, and Kelly Ward of Jackson; along with Kristal Oakes, a special cousin who was more like a sister to him. In addition, he leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends that will forever cherish his memory.

Roger worked as a mechanic for most of his life and was known for his ability to fix just about anything. In his free time, he loved scooters and motorcycles, and spending time with family and friends. Roger always had a story to tell and was often the life of the party, bringing laughter and energy wherever he went. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until time for memorial service at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, May 9, 2026, at the First United Methodist Church in Sikeston.  Rev. Chandler Landis, Associate Pastor, will officiate.

Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Oakes, Jacob Oakes, Mike Nunn, Martin Baker and Micheal Strickland.
