Ronnie Gale Elliott, 80, died March 3, 2019 at Westfield Nursing Center near Sikeston.  He was born July 1,, 1938 in Bragg City to the late Theodore and Drace (Waddell) Elliott.  A resident of Sikeston since 1962, he had previously lived at Kennett; he was a member of Miner Baptist Church, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and had been self employed in construction and excavating.  On May 30, 1959, Ron married Martha Frances McCurry at Hayti and she survives of the home.  Also surviving are 1 son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie G., Jr. and Barbara Elliott of Sikeston; 1 daughter and son-in-law, Debra & Terry Couch of Sikeston; 1 granddaughter, Tara Birdwell and her children Kelsey & Tru; 2 sisters Trudy Speer of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Sheila Wyles of Houston, Texas. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 1 sister.  Graveside rites will be at 10:00 am Tuesday, March 12, at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield with Rev. Dewayne Coleman, pastor of Canalou Baptist Church officiating.  Full military rites will be conducted by the Missouri Military Honors Program.  Online condolences may be shared with the family at blanchardfuneral.com.
