Ronnie Chance

Ronnie Ralph Chance, age 67, died Sunday, November 24, 2024, at his home in East Prairie.

Born July 13, 1957, at Wyatt, MO, to Annie Grace Brewer Chance who survives, and the late Ralph C. Chance, he had lived in East Prairie his entire life.  Ronnie worked by trade as a professional butcher, known to be one of the best in Southeast Missouri.  For many years he was affiliated with McDonald's Food Mart in East Prairie, Town and Country Supermarket at Charleston, The IGA Foodliner in East Prairie and for that past several years with Mid Town Food Giant in Sikeston.

On March 13, 1976, he married Pamela Ray Sanders, who survives of the home.

Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are his brothers and sisters, Dicky (Nicole) Chance of Benton, Don (Sherry) Chance of Bloomfield, Sharron Chance of East Prairie, Lisa (David) Smith of Riner, VA and Theresa (David) Mack of Benton, MO; also, a number of nieces, nephews and cousins he loved dearly.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Randy Thomas Chance.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.  His brother, Don Chance, will offer the eulogy.

A private burial will follow.
