Rose Ann Moore, age 90, of East Prairie, died Friday, March 31, 2023, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born August 11, 1932, at East Prairie, to the late Floyd Edward McLain and Annie Powers McLain, she had lived in East Prairie her entire life where she was a member of the First General Baptist Church. For many years she was employed at the East Prairie Garment Factory and later with the East Prairie R-2 School District as a cook.
On February 17, 1947, she married Charles James Moore, who preceded her in death March 28, 2012.
Surviving is her son, Keith (Linda) Moore of East Prairie; her daughter, Debra (Gerald) Davis of Fayetteville, AR; her sister, Janet Salzar; her grandchildren, Chris (Cara) Davis; Matthew (Carlan) Davis, Phillip Sullivan, Jr. and Angie (Dennis) Thurman; six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; also, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Janice Fay Moore; her brothers, Carl Edward McLain, Paul David McLain and James Gerald McLain and her sister, Pat Delfin.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 3, 2023, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Martin Lucas will officiate.
Interment will follow in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.
Pallbearers will be: Phillip Sullivan, Chris Davis, Matthew Davis, Teddy Sisk, Charlie Marcum, Dennis Thurman, Alvin Marcum and James Marcum.
