Rosemary Woods Hubbert, age 84, of Sikeston, died Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born August 26, 1937, at St. Louis, MO, to the late John R. Woods and Beulah Hampton Woods and had lived in Sikeston most of her life.  A secretary and bookkeeper, she began her career with the McKight-Keaton Company and then was employed with various other firms until she retired to take care of her grandchildren.   She was a longtime member of the Shady Acres Church of Christ.

On August 25, 1957, she married James Robert Hubbert, who preceded her in death on October 21, 2010.

Surviving are her children, Randy (Melba) Hubbert, Mary Anne (Kevin) Mainord and Susan (Pete) Kennard; her grandchildren, Sabra Luke, Lauren (Brett) Shean, Mandy (Jason) Youngblood, Bryan Mainord (Angelina), Scott (Delissa) Mainord, Natalia (Gavin) Vandeven, Lacey Hubbert (Chris) Adam Kennard, Randy Allen Hubbert, II and Peyton Kennard (Jocelyn); great grandchildren, Travis Luke, Drew Youngblood, Kevin Mainord, Truman Luke, Caroline Mainord, Heidi Vandeven and Anastasia Shean; her brother in law and sisters in law, Andrew and Shelba Hubbert and Lois Hubbert.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Virginia (John) Butrum.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, August 28, 2022, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston.  Johnny Hester will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Sikeston.

Pallbearers will be Bryan Mainord, Scott Mainord, Adam Kennard, Peyton Kennard, Drew Youngblood and Kevin Mainord.
