Obituary
ROY WAYNE BROWN, Age 57, a resident of Charleston, died Friday, December 10, 2010 at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born March 15, 1953, at Cairo, Il to the Letha V. Byford Brown who survives of Charleston and the late Roy Simpson Brown. He was a member of the Charleston Church of Christ and was a retired truck driver.
Surviving besides his mother are: two sons, George L. Brown and his fiancé Natalie Reeves of Memphis, TN and Jason W. Brown and his special friend, Dona Lewis of Nebraska City, NE; one daughter, Tammy (Brown) Norris and her husband Steve Norris of Nebraska City, NE; four brothers, Jim (Melissa) Brown of Harland, IN; George Brown, Gary (Donna) Brown and Paul (Tammy) Brown all of Charleston; one sister, Beverly Wilson of Charleston; 8 grandchildren; a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and dedicated friends, Dale and Beverly Harris of Charleston.
Wayne made a gift of his body to the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.
Memorial Services were conducted Sunday, December 12, 2010 at the Charleston Church of Christ.
