Obituary
Roy Lee Chandler, age 69, of Jackson, MS, went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Monday, March 14, 2016 in Jackson.
He was born on December 9, 1946 in St. Louis, Mo., the son of the late Jim Chandler and Hazel Thurman Chandler Bouler. He was a member of Grandview Baptist Church in Pearl, MS. He was a resident of the Mississippi State Veterans Home in Jackson, Ms. for the past 10 years. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran.
Survivors include daughters Linda, Kathy, Feather, and son Roy Lee Chandler Jr., and one brother,Ron Chandler, also, six grandchildren.
Besides his brother, he was preceded in death by one brother, Terry James Chandler and one sister, Brenda Chandler.
There is no visitation.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 18, 2016, at the Anniston Cemetery at Anniston, MO.
Interment will follow under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.
