ROY THOMAS McMILLEN, age 75, of Wyatt and formerly of Sikeston, died Monday, October 31, 2022, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born June 12, 1947, at Charleston, MO, to the late Willie Gray McMillen and Mahala Christine Hill McMillen, he grew up in Mississippi County and went on to serve in the U.S. Army and was a military policeman.  He then returned to Southeast Missouri where he lived in Sikeston and had been employed in farming and as a truck driver.

Surviving are his children, Marcy (Ronnie) Staggs and Laura McKnight of Sikeston and Thomas McMillen of Dexter; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; his brother, Ronnie Ray McMillen of Sikeston and his sisters, Nola Faye Passley, Charlene Sue Grisso, and Wilma Irene McMillen all of Charleston and Sally Marie Garrett and Barbara Jean McMillen both of East Prairie. Also, a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Pazdera and his brother, Willie Dale McMillen.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the funeral hour at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 4, 2022, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.

Interment with military honors will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.
