Royce Ann Alcott, age 78, of Sikeston, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Monday, March 7, 2022, at Southeast Health in Cape Girardeau.

Royce Ann was born October 22, 1943, in Clarksville, Arkansas, to the late Roy Wesley and Ana Lee Woodward Faucett. She moved from her hometown of Lamar, Arkansas, to Sikeston, MO at the age of two. Royce Ann went to Sikeston High School and graduated in the class of '62. She gave her life to Christ at a young age and was a member of the Shady Acres Church of Christ.

On June 17, 1962, she married the love of her life, Thomas Lee Alcott and the adventure began. Royce Ann got to live as a "Marine Wife" for one year, while they lived in South Carolina, but then they moved to California, Ohio, Kentucky and finally settled in Sikeston, Missouri. Tom wanted Royce Ann to be a homemaker and take care of the children, but she did work for Quality Packaging for about three years and the Oran Hat Factory. She was a kind-hearted soul with a true Christian heart. Royce Ann enjoyed listening to old fashioned Christian music and made the best spaghetti; better than any Italian could make.

Survivors include: her husband, Tom, her son, Thomas "Lee" Alcott II, her daughter, Karen Elana Alcott and her granddaughter, Zoe Mae Alcott of Sikeston, MO; and one brother, John Wayne (Delores) Faucett of Cupertino, CA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step father, Frank Harr.

Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until the funeral hour at 7:00 PM, Thursday, March 10, 2022, at McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston. Pete Nuthak will officiate.

Private burial will be Friday, March 11, 2022, at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield.
