Obituary
ROYCE D. CUMMINS, age 59, a resident of Poplar Bluff, MO; died Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born June 27, 1952, at St. Louis, MO, to the late Warren Edward and Genevieve Heppe Cummins, he had lived in St. Louis most of his life and had been employed as a mechanic. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and was of the Baptist Belief.
Surviving are: one son, Warren Edward Cummins of Farmington, MO; two brothers and their spouses, Warren Carrol and Kathy Cummins of East Prairie and Louis Edwin Cummins and Linda Murphy of Charleston; two sisters and one brother in law, Brenda Williams of O'Fallon, MO and Mary and Billy White of East Prairie; a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews in the Mississippi County area; also special friends, William Vance, J.R. Smith and Oliver Paulk all of St. Louis.
A memorial gathering will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Saturday, August 20, 2011 at the First General Baptist Church on West Pine Street in East Prairie. Bro. Buddy Hannah, will officiate.
