Obituary
RUBY SEMLAR, age 93, a resident of Dwight, IL, died Sunday, November 30, 2014, at the home of her daughter in Charleston.
She was born January 18, 1921 in LaCrosse, WI to the late John and Rose Moe Walters. In 1956 she moved to Marseilles, IL then to Dwight, IL where she was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.
On December 25, 1947 she married Louis Semlar who preceded her in death on October 9, 1986.
Surviving are four children; Janie Semlar of Charleston, Sue Surprenant of Kankakee, IL, Dan Semlar of Morris, IL, and Steve Semlar of Litchfield, IL; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Graveside Services will be scheduled at a later date in the Mound Grove Cemetery in Dwight, IL.
Arrangements under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home.
