Wilma Ruedell "Rudi" Gilbertson, 88, died Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.  She was born August 20, 1929 in East Prairie to the late Noven and Geneva (Baker) Karr.  A resident of Sikeston for over 50 years, she had attended East Side Church of the Nazarene , had been an expeditor of parts and materials for over 16 years at Noranda and a riverboat cook for 9 years.  She is survived by two daughters, Layna Gilbertson and Charlita Clay both of Georgia; 2 grandchildren, Lyndy Clay and Eric (Pam) Crider and 1 great-grandson, Koen Crider and 1 step-great-granddaughter, Erin McGinnis all of Georgia.  Two other great-grandchildren also survive as well as her brother, Steve Karr of Cottondale, Alabama.  At her request, cremation has been provided by Blanchard Funeral Chapel and a graveside memorial committal service will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, June 9, 2018, at Dogwood Cemetery with Rev.
