Obituary
RUTH J. MOREHEAD, Age 69, a resident of East Prairie, died Sunday, March 3, 2013 at the Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born October 24, 1943 in Mississippi County, MO to Hallie Aleen Foster Kimbrel who survives of East Prairie and the late Finley George Cummins, she had lived in O'Fallon, MO a number of years where she was employed at Fort Zumwalt School District until her retirement. She returned to Mississippi County in 2007 moving to Charleston and then later to East Prairie.
On April 21, 1962, she married Leroy Morehead who preceded her in death on September 3, 1987.
Surviving are: one son, Daniel Leroy Morehead of Charleston; two daughters, Denna J. Clark Of Charleston and Hollie D. Forbes of Winfield, MO; 9 grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Dian Gammon.
Visititation will be from noon until time for memorial service at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 7, 2013 at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
Dean Wallace, pastor of the Wyatt Baptist Church, will officiate.
Private interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
