Ruth E. Webb Phillips, 93, a life long resident of this area died Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015 at her home. She was born Jan. 10, 1921 in Crowder to the late James William and Martha Ann (Hodges) Burns. A previous member of Morley Church of God, she had been a long-time member of Tanner Street Church of God and had worked in housekeeping at Missouri Delta Community Hospital. She was married June 3, 1943 to Kenneth Webb at Benton and he preceded her in death April 15, 1975; she was then married May 9, 1987 to Harland "Slim" Phillips at Vanduser and he preceded her in death Jan. 17, 1991. She is survived by one son, Michael A. Webb of Lewistown, Illinois, and by 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth L. Webb, Jr., one daughter, Connie Faye Graham and by 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am Friday until time for services at 1:00 pm in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel. Rev.
