Obituary
SAM H. BROWN, age 71, a resident of Anniston died Friday, May 5, 2017, at the East Prairie Nursing Center.
He was born April 3, 1946 in Monroe, LA to Henry and Zirada Price Brown who preceded him in death. A laborer on an oil rig while in LA, he moved to Little Rock, AR then to Anniston in 1989. He was a member of the Anniston Christian Church and also attended Pine Street General Baptist Church in East Prairie.
On April 29, 1988 he married Lena Ruth Myrick who survives in Anniston.
Surviving are two stepsons, Ronald L. Foster of Prairie Grove, AR and Jack A. Foster of El Paso, TX; also one sister, Dollie Talley of Eagle Springs, NC.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one stepson, John Foster.
Family and Friends will assemble for Graveside services at 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at the Anniston Cemetery.
Martin Lucas, pastor of Pine Street General Baptist Church in East Prairie, will officiate.
Interment will follow under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home.
