SANDRA JEAN (Sandy) LYNCH, age 71, died Sunday, April 24, 2022, at her home in Bertrand.

Born June 8, 1950, at Sikeston Missouri, to the late Oscar "Dink" Crowell and Sylvia Naydeen Ellis Crowell, she had lived Bertrand the last several years.  Having worked as an L.P.N. throughout her life, she was employed at a number of hospitals in Illinois, serving in many capacities from OB to ICU, and later as a private duty nurse.  She was a member of the Diehlstadt Baptist Church.

On December 11, 1981, she married Carl M. Lynch, who preceded her in death on April 25, 2019.

Surviving are her children, Ricky Lynch, Tammy Jennings, Katina Whitledge, Jason Lynch and Justin Lynch; thirteen grandchildren, Cody, Eric, Todd, Jesse, Cole, Christopher, Zachary, Destiny, McKenzie, Gabriel, Jackson, Jason II and Jayden; four great grandchildren, Nile, Cody, Rodney and Romeo; her brother, Larry Crowell; her sisters, Betty O'Leary and Joyce Aquino; two very close cousins, considered as sister and brother, Darlene Stroud and Dewayne Coleman,  as well as a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter in law, Chasidy Marie Lynch, two brothers, Gary Richard Crowell and Ellis (Sloy) Crowell; her sister, Marilyn Patterson; two brothers in law, Abe Aquino and Tim O'Leary and sister in law, Patricia Crowell.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at noon, Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, Dewayne Coleman will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be: Eric Lynch, Todd Light, Gabriel Lynch, Jackson Lynch, Cole Whitledge, Jesse Whitledge. Honorary pallbearers will be Zachary Lynch, Cody Light and Chris Lynch.
