SANDRA DENISE PHILLIPS, age 44, of Charleston, died Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

While her dad was stationed with the U.S. Army at Heidelberg, Germany, Sandra was born on December 11, 1976. Her parents where the late Arthur Ray Phillips and Pansay Brown Phillips, who survives of Charleston.  She was a 1996 graduate of Charleston High School and had been employed at Walmart and later the Breaktime Convenience Store.

Surviving in addition to her mother is her brother, Arthur R. (Angel) Phillips of Herrin, IL; her sister, Tina (Mike) Borders of Charleston; her nephews, Kalup Phillips, Alex Phillips, Bradley Phillips and Justin Borders; her niece, Courtney Borders; also, a number of uncles, aunts, and cousins survive.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Rev. Ron Aldridge, will officiate.

Interment will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.
