Sandra Kay Hopper Pruden, age 73, died Friday, December 13, 2024 at her home in Diehlstadt, MO,  surrounded by her loving family.

Born January 27, 1951, at Wyatt, MO, to the late Robert Hopper and Dora Pullen Hopper, she had lived in Diehlstadt a number of years and retired from Good Humor Breyers after 28 years of service.

On August 26, 1970, she married Mike Pruden, who survives of the home.

Also surviving are her sons, Jeremy (Sarah) Pruden of Scott City, MO and Josh Pruden of Joplin, MO; grandchildren, Lance Pruden, Trent Pruden, Patrick Pruden and Cheyenne Pruden; great grandson, Ellis Pruden; her brother, Robert Hopper; as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Danny Hopper and Eddie Murphy.

Private services will be held.

McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
