SARAH L. BRUMLEY PULLEN, age 85, a resident of Wyatt died Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO.
She was born October 24, 1929 in Wyatt to the late Grover Cleveland and Della Miller Brumley. She had lived in Wyatt most of her life and was a member of the Wyatt Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and as a soloist. A salesperson for Avon for 10 years, she had also worked in private duty home health.
On July 20, 1947 she married Ross Pullen who preceded her in death on July 25, 1994.
Surviving are eight children, Steven Pullen of Villa Rica, GA, Randy Pullen of Dallas, GA, Darrell Pullen of LaCenter, KY, Mitchell Pullen of Wyatt, Lydia Pullen of Wyatt, Olivia Smith of Benton, Alex Pullen of Dexter, and Angela Jackson of Lexington, TN; 27 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Danny Pullen and Marty Pullen, and her 12 brothers and sisters, Lucille, Albert, Gordon, Herbert, Fred, Earlene, Ella Mae, Ulyess, Clifton, Virginia, David, and Ruth Ann.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 14, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McMikle Funeral Home where Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15, 2015. Rev. Dean Wallace, pastor of the Wyatt Baptist Church, will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Scott Pullen, Dustin Pullen, Lucas Pullen, Chandler Pullen, Steven Pullen, Jarrod Pullen, Nicholas Pullen, Brandon Sutton, Nathan Pullen, Cody Pullen, Clayton Campbell, Allen Smith, and Chase Smith.
