Sh'Tyana Cortezia Ingram, age 21, of Sikeston, died Sunday, July 3, 2022, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Known affectionately as "Shaay Herbo", she was born May 30, 2001, at Flint, Michigan, to Emily Ingram who survives of Sikeston.
Shaay accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at the Greater Grace Church in Detroit, Michigan. She loved the Lord and believed in her Father in Heaven.
Shaay loved her mother, she was her everything. Shaay was always smiling, showing her beautiful white teeth. Family was central and so important to her. She was a fierce protector over them.
She loved staying fresh, shopping, doing Tik Tok and taking pictures.
Surviving in addition to her mother are her brothers, Larry Ingram, Edward Lewis, Jr., and Joseph Lewis; her sisters, Shanika Ingram and Tyrisha Lewis; her special friend, Jasmine Lewis; also. several nieces and nephews, eight great nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Woodrow Ingram and Georgia Mae Ingram; great uncle Edgar Nelson; her Aunt Arnetta Ingram and her cousin, Matthew Lewis.
The family will receive friends from noon until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 15, 2022, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Pastor Raymond Verner will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.
