Shelby Jean Sullivan age 65, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at her home in Matthews, MO.

Shelby was born September 17, 1957, in Frostburg, MD, to the late Junior and Wanda Folk Burton. On September 29, 1979, she married Michael Sullivan, who preceded her in death on August 10, 2005.

She is survived by one son. Kenny (Amanda) Eftink of Sikeston; one sister Susan (David Slinkard) of Jackson; three brothers, Junior Burton of Matthews, Joe Burton of Matthews and Chris Burton of Chaffee; four grandchildren, Preston (Madison) Eckert of Sikeston, Dylan (Jessie) Eftink of Byrnes Mill, Whitney Eftink of Farmington and Michael Eftink of Sikeston; three great grandchildren, Wesley, Korbin and Mayella; several nieces, nephews and friends, and her very special puppy, Max.

Shelby was employed at Aramark for twenty-three years and Tetra Pak in Sikeston for fourteen years from where she retired in 2020.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m., until the funeral hour at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 4, 2023, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston.

Interment will follow in the Matthews Cemetery at Matthews, MO.

The pallbearers will be Michael Eftink, Dylan Eftink, Preston Eckert, David Slinkard, Ridge Noel and Ryan Burton.
