SHIRLEY KAY CHANCE, 67, died Saturday, January 4, 2020, at her home in East Prairie.

She was born December 24, 1952, at East Prairie, to the late Joe B. and Kathleen Couch Myers, she had lived in East Prairie her entire life and had attended Blessed Assurance Ministries. She loved to read her bible and study the word of God. Creative in her own beautiful ways, she loved to work in her flower gardens. She was a fantastic cleaning lady. Just ask the ones she cleaned for!

On April 11, 1971, she married Bobby Glen Chance, who survives of the home.

Also surviving are her son, Bobby Chance, Jr. of East Prairie; daughter, Star Mize of East Prairie; her brother, Gary Myers of Sikeston; her sisters, Vickie Sue Sanders of East Prairie and Joetta Blumenberg of Wright City, MO; five grandchildren, Dallas Chance, Shelby Chance, Conor Chance, Skyler Mize, Hailey Mize all of East Prairie; also, two great grandchildren, Maddox Johnston and Marley Bass, both of East Prairie.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and six sisters.

Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., Monday, January 6, 2020, at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.

Graveside services will follow at 1:00 p.m., Monday, at the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Mike Cartwright will officiate.

Interment will follow under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be: Bobby Chance, Jr., Eddie Sanders, Jr., Joey Sanders, Jordan Sanders, Clayton Moore and Robbie Moore.
