Shirley Jean Gibson Wyatt
Shirley Jean Gibson Wyatt age 87, formerly of Charleston, MO passed away Friday, January 10, 2025, at her home in Media, TN, surrounded by her loving family.
Born August 7, 1937, in Caruthersville, MO, to Roger Christopher and Maude May Curtis Gibson. She retired from Brown Shoe Factory after many years of service. She had a great love for cooking, gardening, and sewing, making many treasures for her family. She was famous for her biscuit and gravy, chocolate pie, special cheeseburgers, and some amazing pickles made from her garden. She was a long-time member of Christ Ministries Church in Humbold, TN.
The Lords servant Shirley was carried home by a chariot of Angels where she was met at the pearly gates by her beloved Jim and Jimmy Wayne. Her family lost a beloved Momma and Granny who fought a hard fight with leukemia. Momma was the heartbeat of our family; the leader of our faith and the glue that held us all together. She gave selflessly to her husband, children, grandchildren and friends. She walked in faith daily and led her family to follow.
