Stephanie Diane Higgins, age 55, died Sunday, December 18, 2022, at her home in East Prairie.

She was born May 7, 1967, at Charleston, MO, to the late Roy Higgins and Martha Rogers Higgins.  She had lived in East Prairie her entire life and was a 1986 of East Prairie High School.   She had worked in retail, most recently at the Dollar General Store until ill health forced her retirement.

Surviving is her son, Mark (Libbi) Higgins; her daughters, Elisha Huey and Tracy Huey, all of East Prairie; three grandchildren, Braiden Huey, Blakeleigh Higgins and Chloe Higgins; her brothers and sisters, Roy Higgins, Johnny Higgins, Gary Higgins, Patricia Hatton, Shana Browning and Sharon Davis; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her life partner, Mark Huey.

Family and friends may assemble for graveside services at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 22, 2022, at the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
