STEPHEN CLIFFORD "STEVER" FARINGER, age 61, died Monday, July 13, 2020, at his home in Cairo, IL.

Born September 19, 1958, at San Diego, CA, to Glen Lyle Faringer and Patricia Lee Aiken Faringer, who survive of Kona, Hawaii, he grew up in the San Diego area and was a graduate of Grossmont College. He was employed as an electrician with the IBEW #569 of San Diego until his retirement. He then moved to Cairo, IL where he had lived the past 17 years and was a member of the Cairo Elks Lodge #651.   He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a member of the V.F.W.

Surviving in addition to his father and mother is his son, Nick (Leah) Faringer of Sikeston; brother, Paul (Caroline) Faringer of Honolulu, HI; sister, Maryjo (Dan) Dunkley of Cle-elum, WA; and his grandchildren, Seth Faringer and Rhett Faringer.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at the Missouri State Veteran Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO.
