Obituary
STEPHENS PEMBERTON 'STEVE' MOORE, Age 62, died Thursday, August 7, 2008 at his home in Charleston.
He was born December 2, 1945 at Cairo Illinois to the late Paul Lon Stephens Moore and Dorothy Gail Pemberton Moore Harrison. He had lived his entire life in Charleston and had been employed with the Mississippi County Sheriff's Department a number of years. He had served in the Missouri National Guard and attended the Cornerstone Church in Bertrand.
Surviving are: one son, Paul Harrison Moore of Charleston; one daughter, Stephanie Lee Moore of Kansas City, MO and one grandson, Harrison Hayden Moore of Charleston.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Paul Lee Moore and his stepfather, George A. Harrison.
Graveside Services were conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 11, 2008, at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Rev. Dan Faust, pastor of the Charleston United Methodist Church, officiated.
Services under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home.
