Obituary
Steve Clark Mattison, 61, a life-long resident of Sikeston, died Sunday Jan. 22, 2012 at the Bertrand Retirement Home.
He was born May 7, 1950 in Sikeston to the late Clark and Lola (Ford) Mattison.
He had been employed as a truck dock foreman and was a member of North Acres Genereal Baptist Church.
On March 30, 1974 he was united in marriage to Phyllis Clayton at Sikeston and she survives of the home. Also surviving are 2 sons and daughters-in-law: Dustin & Christina Mattisonof Cape Girardeau and Clay & Becky Mattison of Sikeston; 1 sister, Sue James of Sikeston and 5 grandchildren, Zac, Anna,, Houston, Kayla & Abby as well as one soon-to-be-born grandson.
Besides his parents he was also preceded in death by 1 son, Tyler Mattison, and 2 brothers and 1 sister.
Visitation will be held from 12 noon until time of Memorial Service at 1:00 pm Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012 at North Acres General Baptist Church on Kennedy Drive in Sikeston with the Pastor, Rev. Lester Clayton, officiating.
