Susan Flanders Doppke

Susan Dorothy Flanders Doppke, age 60, died Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at her home in Sikeston, MO.

She was born August 20, 1963, to the late Melvin S. Flanders and Edith Mason Flanders at Grissom Air Force Base near Bunker Hill, Indiana. Susan was a truck driver and later a security guard until ill health forced her retirement.    She had lived in the Sikeston area several years and was a member of the Sikeston Eagles Aerie #3319.  She was a avid collector of stuffed animals, a classic car enthusiast and a former stock car racer.

She was married to William Doppke for over 20 years. He preceded her in death.

Surviving is her son, James William Doppke of Sikeston and her brother, George Flanders of Springhill, FL.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston.

Private burial will follow.
