TAMMY RAE ZIMMERMAN, age 47, a resident of Sikeston, died Tuesday, June 9, 2020, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born May 8, 1973, at De Moines, IA, to Royce Bowen who survives of Bethany, MO and Jewel Lafferty who survives of Fargo, ND, she had lived in Sikeston a number of years.   She was the glue that held the family together.  She helped take care of the daily routines of her husband and grandkids. She was loved by many.

On February 1, 2012, she married her high school sweetheart, Michael Zimmerman, who survives of the home.

Also surviving is her son, Christopher McGough; daughters, Candice (Brandi) Burton; Heather Aguiniga and Jessica Aguiniga; brothers, Jeremy Sheridan, Michael Bowen, Timothy Horn and Danny Jones; sisters, Allisa Crow, Cambria Sheridan and Connie Sheridan; grandchildren, Jonathon, Christopher, Gissell, Savanna, Nayeli and Nicholas.

She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Neveah.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, June 14, 2020, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston.

Cremation will follow.
