Terrance Romel Jones, 44, of Houston, with heavy hearts, we announce his peaceful departure on November 1, 2023, leaving behind a profound legacy and cherished memories.
Terrance was a loving son, uncle, brother, and friend whose soul shone brightly, graced this world on August 10, 1979. Terrance's life was a tapestry of laughter, love, and strength. Terrance was born at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri to Janet and Michael Jones Sr. Terrance graduated from Central High School in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
Terrance had a passion for cars, family, fishing, being mischievous, and full of life which was infectious to the ones around him. Terrance took pride in being there for his family and friends, which is how he received the name "Big T", if you know you know, lol. Terrance is proceeded in death by his Mother Janet Jones, and Grandmothers Mary Jones and Bernice Moore. Terrance is survived by Father Michael Jones Sr, his loving son Terrance Jones Jr, Siblings; Yalonda Fredericks (Joseph), Michael Jones Jr, Shaterica Jones, Nieces; Sio'Nisia Jones, Syrentiy Jones, Nephews; Marquis Jones, Micah Jones, Saadiah Jones, Stanley Holmes, Shamir Jones, Great-Nephew; Zyaire Daniels, Aunts; Norma Jean Tipler, Rosemary Kent, Marilyn Jones, Lawanda Jones, Latosha Jones, Felitha Patterson, Calestine Moore, Regina Moore, and Linda Retel Uncles; Gregory Jones, Ronald Moore and Dennis Moore, and a plethora of cousins.
In his presence, hearts were lifted, burdens were lightened, and spirits were uplifted. Though we mourn his loss, we find solace in the beautiful memories we shared and the profound impact he had on our lives. As we bid farewell to Terrance, let us celebrate his life, honor his legacy, and carry his spirit of love and compassion in our hearts. May he find eternal peace in the embrace of heaven, knowing the love he shared continues to resonate in our lives.

The body will lie in state from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at noon, Saturday, November 18, 2023, at the Opportunity Church of God in Christ, 608 West Cypress Street, Charleston, MO 63834
Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.
