Terrell Neill Kempfer, 73, a resident of the Salcedo community, died at his home June 25, 2015. He was born Dec. 30, 1941 at Percy, Illinois to the late Edgar Dean and Ora Emeline (Williams) Kempfer. He was a self-employed carpenter and had moved here from the Murphysboro, Illinois area about 20 years ago. On Aug. 18, 2000 he was married to Maryann Oliver at Salcedo and she survives of the home. Also surviving are 6 sons, Darrin, Kevin, Terrell, Jr., Devin, Nic and Daniel; 6 daughters, Sonya, Tami, Traci, Karen, Danielle, and Tara; 1 brother, Mike and 2 sisters, Frances and Janis. Thirty four grandchildren and twenty two great-grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 1 sister. The family will plan a memorial for a later date.
